Rashid Seedat Appointed to Steering Committee of Global Urban Observatory Network

We are pleased to announce the re-election of GCRO's Executive Director, Rashid Seedat, as Vice Chairperson to the Steering Committee of the Global Urban Observatory Network (GUONet). This appointment reflects his significant leadership, expertise, and dedication to the advancement of urban knowledge and innovation.

The Global Urban Observatory Network serves as a platform that convenes thought leaders, researchers, and practitioners globally to collaborate on data-driven solutions aimed at fostering sustainable urban development. In his capacity as a member of the Steering Committee, Rashid will contribute to defining the strategic direction of the network, enhancing international partnerships, and advocating for inclusive urban policies.
